Out of the Box Storage

Located off Sunnyside in Idaho Falls, this project makes the standard conception of storage units super-sized. The dimensions of each steel building are 45x271 and 90x285, and each bay hosts a pair of 12x14 overhead doors making it easy to fit just about anything you could need to store. Most metal buildings utilize rod bracing stretching across from frame to frame to maintain shear stability, but in this case a pair of vertical columns rotated 90 degrees to the metal building frames called wind posts maintains the bracing requirements while also allowing another set of doors be installed.
